Mathematica Home Licenses

Mathematica is the integrated system for the complete development, computation, simulation, analysis, and documentation of technical problems in a unified, platform-independent working environment using Wolfram Language.

Eligibility

  • Faculty, staff and students are eligible to use Mathematica on their personal computer
  • The agreement supports the use of Mathematica in instruction and academic research
  • Licensing is renewed annually and is available only to active students, faculty, and staff

The others are eligible to use Mathematica on their personal computer using our Network License Server ONLY when they are connected to the SISSA network or to SISSA Remote VPN.

  1. Go to Wolfram Site, enter your SISSA email address, check the personal data retention checkbox and click Continue.



  2. Click the link to download Mathematica for your operating system.

  1. Start Mathematica. The Activation dialog appears. Click Sign In to start activating Mathematica using your SISSA credentials.



  2. Wolfram’s SSO sign-in page opens in your default web browser. Enter your SISSA email address and click “Continue”. You will be directed to SISSA SSO authentication webpage.



  3. Enter and submit your SISSA credentials.
    • If this is your first time signing in, follow the prompts to sign in through SISSA authentication system.



      If you already have a Wolfram ID, you will be prompted to link up your Wolfram ID with your SISSA SSO credentials.

    • If you have signed in before, choose the option to sign in through International School for Advanced Studies and follow the prompts to sign in through SISSA authentication system.



  4. Wolfram’s Sign In Successful message appears in your browser.



  5. Return to the Activation dialog in your Wolfram product.



  6. Wait for the activation to complete. Once done, Mathamatica startup screen appears.





  7. Your Wolfram product is now activated.
