Proxy Server Guide - Firefox 2.x or 3.x (Windows)

a) Start Mozilla Firefox.

• 1) Click on the Tools menu on the top of the windows.
• 2) Select Options form the Tools menu (on the menu bottom).
  

b) In the Options windows

• 1) Click the Advanced icon at the right of the windows.
• 2) Select the Network tab
• 3) In the field Connection click Settings

c) In the Connection settings windows, under the section Configure Proxies to Access the Internet .

• 1) Make sure that the boxes No proxy, Auto-detect proxy settings for this network and Manual proxy configuration, are unchecked
• 2) Put a checked in the box Automatic proxy configuration URL:
• 3) In the box enter http://proxy.sissa.it/proxy.pac
• 4) Click OK to save the settings and close the Connection settings windows.

d) Click OK to close the Options windows.
